A Quick Social Media Health Check-Up for Real Estate Agents

We know it’s not easy or the first time you’ve been lectured on the importance of social media presence as a real estate agent. Because of this, and the constant flow of questions we receive from our clients asking about how to stay or rather get, socially healthy, we decided to put together a list of 5 questions per platform to ask (and grade) yourself.

Facebook

  1. Do you have a Facebook business page or personal page for your brokerage?
  2. Is there a link to your individual or brokerage website?
  3. How often are you posting? (daily, weekly, monthly)
  4. What type of content is being posted? (sharing listings, going live, posting curated content)
  5. Are you promoting yourself or your real estate brand or brokerage in any other way?

Twitter

  1. Is your logo, headshot and contact info easy to find?
  2. How often are you posting? (daily, weekly, monthly)
  3. Is there a link to your individual or brokerage website?
  4. Are you using relevant hashtags when sharing content?
  5. How often are you retweeting or replying to relatable replies?

LinkedIn

  1. Is your logo, headshot, and cover photo professionally displayed?
  2. Are you sharing content that establishes yourself as a thought leader?
  3. Is there a healthy balance of both organic and sponsored marketing efforts and strategy?
  4. How often are you posting memorable status updates?
  5. Have you taken the time to optimize your business page for Google search?
